4-6 Weeks Before Moving

✅ Book a Removal Service – Secure professional movers or a rental truck in advance. 

✅ Notify Important Parties – Update your address with banks, insurance providers, and subscription services.

✅ Start Packing Non-Essentials – Begin with seasonal items, books, and décor you won’t need immediately.

2-3 Weeks Before Moving

Label & Organize Boxes – Clearly mark boxes with their contents and the rooms they belong to.

Arrange Utilities – Set up electricity, water, internet, and gas at your new home.

Plan for Kids & Pets – Arrange childcare or pet care for moving day. 

Use Up Perishables – Eat through your frozen and pantry food to avoid waste.

1 Week Before Moving 

Pack a Moving Day Kit – Include essentials like toiletries, chargers, snacks, and a change of clothes.

Confirm Moving Day Details – Double-check with your movers and new utility providers. 

Clean Your Current Home – Ensure everything is tidy before handing over the keys.

Collect Important Documents – Keep passports, contracts, and other crucial paperwork handy.

Moving Day 

Do a Final Walkthrough – Check every room, cupboard, and drawer.

Supervise the Move – Ensure boxes are placed in the correct rooms in your new home.
