The R&R Reveal #1

This historic town combines quiet, tree-lined residential streets with a thriving business hub that boasts some of the 'big names' including Woolies Foods, Mr Price, and a choice of Pick n Pay and Spar outlets, alongside locally-owned retailers such as Giovision and Hopewell's. Set between forested hillsides and the glinting waters of Midmar Dam, nature is just a few minutes away. There are diverselifestyle choices for all ages, with high demand for both single family residential homes and secure estates. There are lots of the latter to choose from, including wildlife and golfing options, and those with frail-care facilities. There are excellent educational choices, with some of the country's top schools in the area, and a wide range of healthcare facilities, including Lenmed Howick Private Hospital and the Life Hilton Private Hospital, as well as numerous individual medical practitioners. Not forgetting several top-class veterinarian facilities! Howick and its surrounding areas are conveniently close to the N3 which provides easy access to Johannesburg, Pietermaritzburg, and Durban (and Oribi and King Shaka airports). Howick and the KZN Midlands have so much to offer. Call us to discover the latest residential and commercial properties on the market.

Did you know?

Howick gets its name from the Northumberland home of Earl Grey, who was the British Colonial Secretary in 1847. The town is set on land bought from a Wesleyan missionary, James Archbell, owner of three large farms whose names are still familiar today: Stocklands, Oatlands, and Woodlands. The government bought land from him to establish a settlement near to where travellers crossed the Umngeni River.

Be aware...

Insurers will not pay for damage to your home or property if it is caused by neglect and lack of maintenance, such as clogged gutters leading to a leaking roof.
